Humans v/s Hypertension

Hypertension is a major public health problem due to different kind and nature of the work. Many people are not interested in job role provided to them, some are looking forward in their careers. So, lack of interest and work load leads to tension and further hypertension. Around 7.5 million deaths or 12.8% of the total of all annual deaths worldwide occur due to high blood pressure. It is predicted to be increased to 1.56 billion adults with hypertension in 2025.
Specially in India, 1 out of 8 Indians suffer from Hypertension and it leads to 14 lakh deaths every year. These deaths and prediction for increasing hypertension case by 2025, are not a good sign for India. It's doesn't matter that where you live or work. It affects equally. It works as a silent killer among the people, as very rarely any symptom can be seen in its early stages until a severe medical crisis takes place like heart attack, stroke, or chronic kidney disease. Most of the people are unaware of excessive blood pressure. Although majority of patients with hypertension remain asymptomatic, some people with hypertension report headaches, lightheadedness, altered vision etc.
At present, we have only one solution which can counter with hypertension i.e. 'meditation'. It is the call of nature and need of the hour that we must have to switch our life style and must include meditation because a mindfulness and mind-body practice is recommended to promote relaxation and can make you to live a healthy life.
